Purpose Jesus placed a high value on children. Preschoolers and children are very important to us at Bethel Baptist Church. We follow an educational approach during the preschool years, and not just a "keeping/watching" approach. We know the value of permanent teachers and leaders for all classes and activities for children. We have adults who serve in some capacity in preschool and children's leadership. Background checks are required for all youth and adults who serve in the children and youth ministries. We seek to maintain high educational and quality standards such as teacher/child ratios and long-term commitment from adults who teach and lead children. We have measures in place to help ensure the safety and security of every child.

The primary responsibility for biblical, spiritual development is given to parents as clear instructions in the Bible. We strive to support parents and give them the tools and assistance to model and teach biblical principles for their children.
